We are delighted to announce our success in the Green Electronics Council‘s 2018 Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) Purchaser Awards. Awardees included national and local governments, financial, healthcare and higher education institutions and businesses from around the globe.

The award recognises excellence and leadership in the procurement of sustainable IT products which reduce environmental impact across their lifecycle and are manufactured to:

  • conserve energy
  • minimise the use of environmentally sensitive materials, and
  • increase recyclability

Commenting on the award, Scottish Procurement’s ICT Category Manager, Denis McFadden said: “Scottish Procurement’s success in the global EPEAT awards programme is recognition that our frameworks for IT products continue to deliver the highest levels of environmental, social, and economic benefits to the Scottish public sector.”
