Our recently launched sustainable procurement duty tools platform was developed with Cupar based software consultancy Horisk Leslie Development using one of our national frameworks and quick quote.

The platform has been designed to help Scotland’s public sector organisations identify how they can enhance the economic, social and environmental outcomes of their procurement and brings together a number of key tools:

  • Flexible framework assessment tool
  • Prioritisation tool
  • Sustainability test
  • Life cycle impact mapping (part of Sustainability Test)

This recent publication showcases the contribution from Horisk Leslie Development, a beneficiary of the Supplier Development Programme, in helping public bodies’ to kickstart the national economic recovery post-Covid-19.

The sustainable procurement tools can be accessed here along with supporting guidance.
