Suppliers, make yourself more visible on Public Contracts Scotland

Over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing a series of short blogs to help you get the most out of Public Contracts Scotland (PCS).

Did you know that Buyers on PCS can search for suppliers in a number of different ways?

1. Supplier Finder – Buyers can quickly search for goods through Supplier Finder. Setting up a Supplier Finder Profile will allow Buyers to find you by the goods or services that you can provide. Set up your Supplier Finder Profile on PCS.
2. Search by Details – Buyers can search for suppliers by name, company and email. So ensure that your account is up to date. It is a good idea to use one supplier account for your organisation and use a generic email address that is monitored daily so you do not miss out on opportunities. Review and update your account details on PCS.
3. Search by Category – Buyers can search for suppliers using CPV codes. They can only do this if you have set up an Alert profile on PCS. Setting up an Alert Profile will allow you to receive emails when new opportunities are added to PCS. Set up your Alert Profile or update your current profile.

Setting up an Alert profile, Supplier Finder profile and updating your account details are up to date will help Buyers to identify you when they are searching for suppliers to invite to tender.
