Using the Sustainable Procurement Tools: Online training event

Scotland’s Sustainable Procurement Tools have been designed to help public sector organisations identify and address how they can optimise the economic, social and environmental outcomes of their procurement activity.

By embedding sustainability into procurement, organisations can better align their purchasing decisions with strategic priorities such as net zero, fair work, and broader community benefits.

Event details

We are hosting a short event, for procurement professionals from across the Scottish public sector. The event will take place online on Thursday 1 October from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

This session will help you understand and apply:

• Life Cycle Impact Mapping (LCIM)
• The Sustainability Test

If you aren’t able to join us, future sessions will be available and our ‘How to’ video guides are available on the Sustainable Procurement Tools website. These resources cover:

Each tool has an introduction to its purpose and benefits, guidance on when to use it, and an overview of the outputs you can expect.
