Meet the Buyer 2023 is a great chance for buyers and suppliers to be Open and Connected.

Large contractors with supply chains can attract, expand and develop local supply chains and deliver Corporate Social Responsibility in a measurable way through a paid exhibition and sponsorship of Scotland’s largest Meet the Buyer event on 17 May 2023 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC).

Time is running out to book exhibitions, which close on Friday, 14 April 2023.  Stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Scotland’s public sector buyers and reserve your exhibition space now on the Supplier Development Programme (SDP) website.

To discuss in more detail, email the Supplier Development Programme directly at info@sdpscotland.co.uk.

Nick Ford, Director of Scottish Procurement and Property, is looking forward to attending this year’s in-person event. (Transcript available at the bottom of the page).

Single-speaker Transcript (Nick Ford):

2023 is going to be a great year for the procurement and property community to come together and network.

One of the first big events of the year is the national Meet the Buyer event on the 17th May.

I’m really looking forward to this event. It’s a great chance for business of all sizes to engage with buyers and learn about tender opportunities across Scotland and the UK.

A number of our colleagues will be there on the day to showcase Scottish Government frameworks, tools and opportunities.

We want public procurement in Scotland to be open and connected and this event is a perfect way to make those connections happen.
