Do you have an interest in Construction Procurement?

We are relaunching our Construction Procurement Sessions to raise awareness and improve the capability of public sector construction clients.

The first session will be held on Microsoft Teams on 23 September 2025 from 10:30am to 12pm. Presenters will be Iain Ross and Clare Paterson, both Principal Construction Advisers in the Scottish Government’s Construction Procurement Policy Unit.

The first session will cover the importance of sustainable pricing in construction and its links to quality outputs and outcomes as well as the Graduated Pricing Mechanism and Abnormally Low Tenders.

Note due to high demand, we have increased the initial allocation of tickets so please try again if you were previously unsuccessful.

These sessions are open to public and private sector and anyone who has an interest in the delivery of construction projects or more generally in procurement. This webinar is part of the Construction Procurement Sessions programme and further sessions will be delivered over the coming months. If there are any specific topics you would like us to cover please let us know by emailing PropertyandConstruction@gov.scot and we will try to accommodate them.

If you would like to attend you can register via Eventbrite: The Construction Sessions – Sustainable Pricing in Construction Tickets, Tue, Sep 23, 2025 at 10:30 AM | Eventbrite
