We’re pleased to announce the launch of the renewed and refreshed Circular Procurement and Supply eLearning, designed to help buyers and suppliers understand their role in mobilising procurement and supply in the transition to a Circular Economy and Net Zero.
This new eLearning resource complements existing guidance and forms part of a broader set of tools, including Climate Literacy eLearning and practical case studies, all available through the Sustainable Procurement Tools platform.
What’s inside the eLearning?
The refreshed eLearning follows a clear structure with modules focusing on what circular procurement is, why it is important, and how it can be embedded into procurement and supply.
- what is Circular Procurement? – Circular Economy, Circular Procurement and Supply
- why is it important? – Legislation and Policy, Benefits
- how can it be embedded in practice? – Enablers to Circular Procurement, Sourcing, Contract Management and examples
Each module can be completed independently, with the full package taking approximately two hours.
These are designed for buyers and suppliers in the Scottish Public sector. Examples and content includes real emphasis on how both buyers and suppliers can embed circularity into practice
