Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) has now been updated to include a new European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) Scotland module. This is a direct result of feedback gathered from buyers and suppliers.

Benefits of the new module

  • Buyers can create their ESPD requests electronically
  • Suppliers can complete their responses in an electronic form
  • Suppliers have the ability to save their response as a supplier profile and can recall their answers in any future ESPD responses
  • All users will have access to the ESPD Scotland module via their existing PCS account and no separate registration is required

Awareness raising

To raise awareness, workshops have been held to help buyers become familiar with the new functionality. User guides have also been created to help buyers and suppliers navigate through the system.

Further information

This new service is primarily aimed at users who are not using the ESPD functionality within PCS-Tender. Users who are currently using PCS-Tender to create their ESPDs should continue to do so. The MS Word version of the ESPD (Scotland) and best practice guidance will also continue to be available from the Procurement Journey.
