  • Celebrating the 2023 Family Nurse Partnership Scotland Conference

    On Thursday 16th March the Scottish Government hosted a conference for all Family Nurse Partnership staff at the Hilton Carlton in Edinburgh. The event was attended by over 160 people from a range of backgrounds, including family nurses, supervisors, data managers and some of our NES colleagues.

  • Experiences of a New Family Nurse

    We asked Gail Chapple to share her journey of becoming a new family nurse within the Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) in Scotland. A family nurse’s role is to visit families in their homes and provide intensive tailored support to young first-time mothers aged 19 or under, and eligible 20–24-year-olds, from early pregnancy until the child reaches two.
