Knowing me and knowing you..

It’s 2014 and our New Year’s resolution is to utilise social media on a more regular basis.
We are going to use our blog to share good practice, ideas, policy initiatives and upcoming events and we would love to hear all of your plans too. One of our aims this year is to do more work shadowing – in both directions. We are only a small team of 8 but would love to set-up some work shadowing opportunities on a case by case basis.
If you would be interested in shadowing our team and getting to find out more about what we do or you would like someone from the team to come out and shadow the work you are doing please get in touch. You can email us at careforolderpeople@scotland.gsi.gov.uk.
Work shadowing is a great opportunity for collaborative working but also to accommodate training. We look forward to setting some up and blogging all about them!

We’ve already had such a positive response to this. Looking forward to getting out there to see what people do and welcoming them into our world. Keep the ideas coming – we may not be able to do them all at once and will have to do a staggered approach but it’s brilliant to make these links.
