Development Plan Forum 2018 – Lead Practice Case Studies
May 22, 2018 by Planning Directorate No Comments | Category Development Plan Forum 2018
The purpose of the lead practice work has been to test planning review proposals in practice, learn from current practice and share knowledge in order to shape future implementation.
The case studies have developed in collaboration with planning authority partners who offered to pilot work they are engaged with and the three projects currently illustrated are:
- West Dunbartonshire Council – linking Spatial and Community Planning
- Moray Council – Gatecheck
- Fife Council – Delivery Programme
The case studies were presented at the Development Planning Forum on 20 April 2018.
The Scottish Government’s role has been to facilitate support without prejudice to views of Scottish Ministers as projects work within current legislative requirements.
