Prior Information Notice (PIN) issued for Telephony Services
January 11, 2018 by Eddie Chapman No Comments | Category contracts, Dynamic Purchasing System, ICT, Procurement news
Scottish Procurement has issued a Prior Information Notice (PIN) for Telephony Services. The current Fixed Telephony Services framework agreement is due to expire in June 2018. We think the framework could potentially be replaced with a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).
The PIN has been issued to provide advance notice to the market and to encourage suppliers to provide their views on the scope of the DPS.
There is potential to have a multi lot arrangement around the following services:
- Traditional telephony
- Internet protocol (IP) telephony (including session initiation protocol and voice over internet protocol)
- Bundled services encompassing a full range of telephony services and potentially including mobile voice and data services as a ‘one stop shop’
- Maintenance of telephony equipment
Scottish Procurement expect to issue the full OJEU procurement for Telephony Services around the end of February 2018 with the agreement expected to be established around April 2018.
Volunteers are currently being sought for members of the Telephony Services User Intelligence Group. Please register your interest by close of business on 19 January 2018 by email to david.box@gov.scot.
