New website for Supplier Development Programme Scotland (SDP)

At the start of October 2019 we launched the new Supplier Development Programme Scotland (SDP) website. For the first time, all suppliers are able to register on the website, though specific resources continue to be exclusive to Scottish-based SME businesses.
By streamlining the SDP website, we aim to offer a greener, paperless, more efficient experience for suppliers and buyers all over Scotland.
What’s new?
Meet the Buyer 2019 on 13 November will be our official website launch party. There, Scottish-based SME businesses will be able to learn more about some of the great new features of our website, such as:
- policy templates for equality and inclusion, health and safety, quality management and more;
- the opportunity to submit your success stories when you win contracts with public sector buyers;
- the ability to download certificates of completion after participating in SDP training (with an option to print and display or download an electronic badge to feature on your website); and
- an improved ability to manage your bookings for face-to-face training, webinars and Meet the Buyer events.

Once your business is registered on the new website, you’ll be able to book a free place to attend Meet the Buyer 2019 on 13 November 2019 at Hampden Park in Glasgow. More than 65 exhibitors from the public sector, private contractors and business support providers will be at the event. It’s the largest free procurement event in Scotland!
Bonus: buyers can register for a buyer profile on the SDP Website
We are always offering membership opportunities to public sector buyers, trade associations and housing associations, which opens up a range of benefits.
