Sustainable Procurement Tools platform – what’s new?
May 24, 2021 by Niamh Duncan No Comments | Category Scottish Procurement, Sustainable Procurement Tools, Training
Since launching our Sustainable Procurement Tools platform in June 2020, 116 Scottish public sector bodies have registered. We are delighted that public and private organisations in other parts of the UK and further afield have also registered and in total we are now approaching 760 users across 235 organisations.
Work has been ongoing to improve the platform in response to feedback:
- A Sustainability Test library area is now available, this enables the sharing of good examples of completed Sustainability Tests across all users of the platform. Users can offer completed sustainability tests for the library, or use library sustainability tests as the basis for their own assessments.
- Remember Me function has been added to the log-in screen, enabling users to stay logged in to the platform for an extended period.
- Users can now download and export the results of their Life Cycle Impact Map from Sustainability Test.
Identifying the life cycle impacts for a procurement can be an ‘easy way in’ to assessing the risks and opportunities in the sustainability test, and can help get budget-holders, specifiers and end users on board.
