Introduction to Sustainable Public Procurement eLearning – now available!
May 26, 2021 by Niamh Duncan No Comments | Category Procurement news, Scottish Procurement, Sustainable Procurement Tools
Introduction to Sustainable Public Procurement eLearning is now available on the sustainable procurement tools platform. This eLearning was formerly hosted by Zero Waste Scotland and has been moved and refreshed to reflect the current context for sustainable public procurement in Scotland. It is intended for all those involved in commissioning and procurement, for example: internal customers; budget holders; specifiers; procurers; subject matter experts; and contract managers, etc.
It introduces the user to the strategic role of procurement in addressing policy and legislative priorities. It summarises the key outcomes and benefits that can come from a focus on sustainable procurement, and outlines the key principles, tools, techniques and guidance available to support sustainable public procurement.
The eLearning is available from our Sustainable Procurement Tools platform, alongside the Climate Literacy eLearning launched in early March.
