Is public procurement in Scotland of interest to you? Here’s a date for your diary!

We want public procurement in Scotland to be #OpenAndConnected – so we’re very pleased to be supporting the upcoming Government Opportunities (GO) Scottish Public Procurement Conference, taking place on Thursday 3 March 2022.

This one-day online event will give attendees the chance to hear from leading speakers on the challenges, initiatives and opportunities across Scotland’s public procurement marketplaces. Organisations of all sizes are welcome to attend, including SMEs, third-sector and Supported Businesses. Registration is free for public and third-sector organisations, with limited tickets available for private-sector businesses.

The conference will be opened by Ivan McKee MSP, Minister for Business, Trade, Tourism and Enterprise, and Nick Ford, Director of Scottish Procurement and Property. Attendees will then be able to choose from a range of interesting sessions covering topics like sustainability, procurement innovation and supply chain development.

We’re also looking forward to hearing from some of our previous Guest Bloggers at the event – CivTech Scotland, Hey Girls (an SME and the only Scottish finalist at the COP26 Heroes of Net Zero awards!) and BASE – the British Association for Supported Employment.

All content will be available for up to 30 days after the Conference ends, allowing registered attendees to revisit any content they missed.

Don’t miss out – register for the conference now.
