We want public procurement in Scotland to be #OpenAndConnected
Following on from our blog post in January regarding a new international procurement study, we’d now like to let you know about the next stage of the research which involves more in-depth interviews with procurement staff and suppliers.
The public procurement community in Scotland are being asked for their involvement in the international comparative study of ‘sustainable procurement’ being carried out by Glasgow Caledonian University and Swinburne University in Australia.
The study aims to understand the practical implementation of social procurement policy in both Scotland and the Australian state of Victoria, and the challenges and opportunities that these reforms are creating for procurement staff and suppliers.
All procurement staff and suppliers interested in sharing their experiences of procurement are being called to participate in a 1-hour in-depth interview via Zoom or Microsoft Teams at a time that is convenient for you throughout May or early June.
