Business Support for the Third Sector successor contract: Invitation to Tender (ITT) now live

Following on from the Prior Information Notice (PIN) issued in May, the Invitation to Tender for the Business Support for the Third Sector successor contract is now live.

The successor contract will continue to provide tailored support to the enterprising third sector through our world-leading national business support contract. Tenderers are being asked to respond to a revised specification for the new contract. One that builds on the strengths of the current offer but also responds to feedback gathered through the PIN survey and acknowledges the changing context in which the sector is operating as we emerge from the pandemic.
Feedback from the PIN survey included:

  • the increasing importance of supporting social enterprises to scale up their business activity
  • making the support offer more accessible
  • strengthening marketing and promotion to ensure it reaches as many people with an interest in trading for the social good as possible

There was also valuable feedback around enhancing approaches to equality, diversity and inclusion and ensuring that suppliers have the right skills and experience to collaborate effectively with a range of delivery partners and stakeholders across the sector and beyond.

To ensure that the ITT attracts as much interest as possible, we would be really grateful if you could please promote the tender opportunity across your networks. Through your social media channels, newsletters or any other ways in which you see fit. The opportunity is advertised on both Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) and the UK-wide Find a Tender Service.
The deadline for completed tenders is 14 November at 12 noon to be submitted via
PCS – Tender ( .

Full details, including key contacts and key dates, are contained in the contract notice:
