‘Unlocking Procurement’ event with Social Enterprise Scotland

As set out in our recently published Public Procurement Strategy for Scotland, the Scottish Government and wider public sector has a long-standing commitment to SME engagement, which is embedded in Scottish procurement legislation and sustainable approaches. 

To raise awareness of the strategy publication, we have been taking part in a number of engagement activities in recent months including meeting with the public procurement Heads of Procurement and will soon be presenting at the CIPFA Finance Directors meeting. 

On 29th August 2023 we are participating in an ‘Unlocking Procurement’ event with Social Enterprise Scotland and Just Enterprise. The purpose of this free, hour-long event is for social enterprises to find out more about new and important developments in public procurement and support available. 

‘Unlocking Procurement’ is the first in a series of events around procurement opportunities for social enterprises.
