New Biosecurity Guidance – Sustainable Procurement Tools
January 14, 2025 by Emma Hall No Comments | Category Procurement news, Sustainable Procurement, Sustainable Procurement Tools
We’re pleased to announce that updated Biosecurity guidance is now live on the Sustainable Procurement Tools website. Biosecurity is protection from biological risks which could affect human, animal and plant health, or the wider environment.
This guidance has been updated with the help of subject matter experts from NatureScot and Science & Advice for Scottish Agriculture (SASA), and we thank them for their help.
As part of a series of sustainable procurement guidance, the guidance complements other related guides such as climate change, materials, waste, biodiversity and hazardous materials and emissions.
This resource provides relevant procurement guidance, aligned with the Procurement Journey, and also contains an Annex of example contract clauses and key performance indicators.
Support and resources
All sustainable procurement guidance is available within the Guidance section of the Sustainable Procurement Tools website and can be accessed by both registered and unregistered users.
