The 21st Scottish National Procurement Conference will take place on Thursday 29 October in Glasgow. This flagship event returns as the centrepiece of Procurex Scotland 2026. 

The conference will bring together Scotland’s public procurement community to engage across a range of learning, networking and collaboration opportunities reflecting on over two decades of progress – and what’s planned for the future: all with the aim of putting public procurement at the heart of a sustainable economy to maximise value for the people of Scotland. 

This year’s programme is centred around three key themes that reflect some of the biggest opportunities and challenges facing public procurement today: 

Collaboration 
How organisations can work together more effectively to maximise value, tackle shared challenges and deliver better outcomes for communities. 

Capability 
How we build the skills, leadership and expertise needed to create a resilient and future-ready procurement profession. 

AI 
How artificial intelligence can be adopted responsibly to improve procurement while balancing innovation, governance and capability.
