Consultation analysis report – amending the thresholds within the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 (the Act)

March 23, 2026 by No Comments | Category Procurement news, Scottish Procurement

We have published the analysis report from our public consultation into amending the thresholds within the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 (the Act).

The consultation was launched last October to gather views on increasing the Act’s goods, services and works thresholds as well as decreasing the community benefits threshold.

The consultation was live for 12-weeks and received a total of 223 responses. Respondents ranged from public bodies, third sector organisations, businesses, supplier representative groups and more. These responses will help to inform consideration of possible next steps.

The team would like to extend a thank you to those who took the time to read over the consultation document and submit a response.

The full analysis report can be read on our website.
