Two weeks to go until Meet the Buyer South 2026!

The Supplier Development Programme (SDP) is set to host the fifth annual Meet the Buyer South event on Wednesday 7 October at The Corn Exchange in Haddington. This free event offers suppliers the chance to introduce their business to decision-makers from across the region, all under one roof.

Delivered in partnership with East Lothian Council and Scottish Borders Council, this networking event connects suppliers with public and private sector buyers, helping them discover upcoming contracts and opportunities across the South East of Scotland.

Alongside the event partners, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with key buyers and decision-makers from Scottish Government, Forestry and Land Scotland, Midlothian Council, NHS Lothian, Ogilvie Construction, Scotland Excel, Scottish Borders Housing Association, Scottish Procurement Alliance, and more…

On the day, suppliers will also have the chance to meet business support representatives that can help local businesses grow and compete for contracts.

This event is designed to support micro, small and medium-sized businesses, as well as third sector organisations and social enterprises in the South of Scotland, to engage with public sector opportunities. However, businesses of all sizes are welcome to attend Meet the Buyer South.

Over 450 suppliers have already registered to attend Meet the Buyer South 2026 in Haddington. It is a must-attend event for local businesses of all sizes.

Attendance is free. However, you must register in advance through the SDP website.
