Statistics.gov.scot – open data monthly update
Statistics.gov.scot is the open data platform for Scottish Official Statistics. You can explore, visualise and download 235 datasets. It provides data from a variety of organisations, such as the Scottish Government, National Records of Scotland, and NHS Information Services Division.
New datasets:
NRS have added datasets with 25 year projections of the number of households and size of households.
We now have datasets describing Local Authority housing which is vacant: both all vacant dwellings, and vacancies arising during the year.
The National Indicator of ‘Distance to nearest green or blue space’, which measures peoples access to public open space.
Recently updated datasets:
NRS have completed an annual update to their small area household datasets, such as dwellings by council tax band, household estimates, and dwellings by type.
Information about the number of looked after children by type of care setting was updated.
Economic datasets which have been updated include Unemployment Model Based Estimates, GDP, the Annual Business Survey, Employment, and Land and Buildings Transaction Tax revenue and transactions.
On health data, cancer registrations, and delayed discharges datasets have been updated.
Scottish Welfare Fund expenditure and applications.
Number of people killed and seriously injured on Scotland’s roads.
