Evaluation of the impact of ESF/ERDF support for SMEs and long-term unemployment

December 19, 2022 by No Comments | Category Uncategorized

In June, we notified stakeholders that we had appointed economic consultancy firm EKOS to undertake an evaluation of the impact that European Social Fund (ESF) and European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) support has had on SMEs and the long-term unemployed in Scotland.

Many stakeholders will have assisted EKOS during the course of the evaluation and we would like to thank everyone who helped to make the report as comprehensive as possible.

The evaluation report of the impact on SMEs and long-term unemployed has now been published and is available online.

Further evaluations of aspects of the 2014-20 ESF and ERDF Programmes in Scotland can be found on our website.

EKOS will soon undertake another evaluation to identify the benefits that have been delivered through the low carbon elements of the programmes, highlighting good practice and lessons for the future.

The Managing Authority and EKOS will require your support and input to ensure the successful delivery of the final evaluation report. EKOS will be in touch shortly with relevant stakeholders and we would be grateful if you could assist them as much as possible.
