NHS Lothian hosted a fantastic evening of celebration in Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange. The event marked ten years of the Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) in Scotland.

The Programme Management Office for FNP, here in Scottish Government, were delighted to share in the celebrations. Attendees included with some of the very first FNP families, nurses, staff and supporters.

Those first babies are now between eight and nine years old. It is a joy to see the real and lasting impact of the programme, evident in the happy, confident, thriving children celebrating with their families and our nurses.

First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, first launched the programme in Scotland in 2010 as Health Secretary. Fittingly, the First Minister was also on hand to welcome attendees to the 2020 celebration.
