Consultation on Crematoria Guidance PGN (5/12)

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) in the UK Government has launched a consultation on the review of the Crematoria Guidance PGN (5/12).

This consultation seeks views on the proposed new guidance that will replace the existing crematoria guidance PG5/2(12).

This consultation will be of interest to

  • regulatory bodies,
  • individual operators,
  • trade associations
  • professional bodies of the crematoria industry.

However, this consultation is open to any organisation or individual with an interest in the matter.

The consultation closes on 03 December 2023.

Process guidance notes are issued as guidance in Scotland and as statutory guidance in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
