Change of coding for Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) users
September 26, 2019 by Lorraine Carlyle No Comments | Category PCS, Procurement news, Public Contracts Scotland, Scottish Procurement, suppliers
To improve the email alert service, PCS is changing the commodity coding structure it uses to set up company profiles. From 31 October, PCS will stop using the Proclass coding structure and switch to the Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV) classification system.
In preparation for this, PCS has mapped all existing supplier profiles from the Proclass structure and created new profiles using CPV.
What does this mean for suppliers?
You must check your new CPV profile. If any of your profile information is incorrect, you must amend it as soon as possible from 31 October onwards. This will make sure it remains relevant and robust for all your business interests.
You are responsible for keeping your company profile accurate and up to date. Proactis will not be held liable for any omissions and/or errors.
If you have any questions, please contact the Helpdesk on 0800 222 9003.
