Our Construction Procurement Policy Unit is holding a construction conference on Wednesday 17 June 2020 at CoSLA conference centre in Edinburgh. The conference will focus on the delivery of quality outputs and outcomes in public sector construction projects.

Target audience

The conference is aimed at contracting authority staff, construction industry consultants and contractors who are involved in the delivery of construction projects.

Agenda

Our keynote speaker, Kate Forbes MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Finance will headline the agenda. Followed by a range of industry leaders who will focus on some of the key issues facing public sector construction today. The afternoon will then focus on how we can improve what we do, with discussion around what action needs to be taken and where.

Attendance

Event capacity has been limited to 120 delegates to encourage participation and debate in a manageable setting. We are keen to attract a cross section of public sector clients and procurers as well as private sector contractors and consultants of all professions.

We will soon be inviting applications for tickets, which will be free of charge. In the meantime, we would ask that a note is added to the diaries of all relevant people, principally those in leadership and/or senior operational roles concerned with delivering public sector construction projects.
