Harnessing innovation for the public sector

We have been working hard to enable our public sector to harness innovation to improve public services and the lives of people in Scotland. Late last year we launched Scotland Innovates, the national supplier led innovation service, designed by a pan sector team to open the door for suppliers to submit their proposals for innovative goods and service to the entire public sector.

The service sits separate to Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) and contains useful guidance for innovators as well as news, events and case studies.

If you engage with suppliers who have an innovative idea or solution that could improve public services in Scotland, encourage them to register and submit now at innovator.scot

We have been working hard to open the door to innovative suppliers.

Scotland Innovates allows businesses to submit proposals for innovative goods and services to the entire Scottish Public Sector. It is the national supplier led innovation service. Scotland Innovates is free to use and allows suppliers, citizens and innovators to register and submit proposals for innovative goods and services to improve our public services. All submissions are responded to, so please register and submit your proposal today at innovator.scot. The Scotland Innovates website also contains useful guidance for innovators as well as news, events and case studies.
