Now in its 17th year, this free-to-attend networking event will take place on Tuesday 2 June 2026, from 10am to 3pm, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central.
Don’t miss Scotland’s largest free procurement event, hosted by the Supplier Development Programme (SDP) and partnered by Scottish Government and Scotland Excel.
Why should you attend?
This in-person event provides Scottish SMEs and Third Sector Organisations with an opportunity to connect with public sector buyers and private sector main contractors, to discuss contract and supply chain opportunities.
Meet the Buyer is the perfect place for suppliers to discover how they can win their share of Scotland’s £17.5 billion annual public sector procurement spend.
Who’s exhibiting?
Public sector exhibitors at Meet the Buyer will include Headline Partners Scottish Government and Scotland Excel.
In addition, buyers from Historic Environment Scotland, PfH Scotland, Police Scotland, Scottish Procurement Alliance and Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) will be in attendance. Furthermore, we are delighted to announce the return of the NHS Health Zone, sponsored by NHS National Services Scotland.
Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, City of Edinburgh, Clackmannanshire, Dumfries and Galloway, East Lothian, Fife, Glasgow City, North Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, and West Dunbartonshire Councils are also confirmed to attend.
Private sector exhibitors will include Balfour Beatty Power, Bumblebee EV, Murphy, Ogilvie, Sovereign Group and Wills Bros Civil Engineering Ltd.
Buyers will be on their stands ready to answer suppliers’ questions and discuss their pipeline of work. Business support bodies will also be on hand, including the Supplier Development Programme, Flexibility Works, Living Wage Scotland, and more…
Keynote sessions
Alongside the exhibition, the event will include keynote sessions from experts offering hints and tips to get tender ready.
