LFASS payments
Hill farmers and crofters operating in some of our most remote and marginalised areas will benefit from the commencement of LFASS payments worth more than £24 million.

Around 11,000 eligible farmers and crofters will receive payment in coming weeks, with many having already taken the opportunity to receive up to 90% of their 2018 entitlement under the national loan scheme.

Central Green Scotland Network Development Fund
Projects promoting green living through active travel, habitat restoration, and community growing are set to benefit from £264,000 of development funding.

The Central Scotland Green Network (CSGN) funding was announced by Rural Affairs and Natural Environment Minister Mairi Gougeon who visited Gorebridge Community Development Trust, one of the 11 successful recipients.

Scottish Land Fund grants
Land Reform Secretary Roseanna Cunningham announced that grants totalling more than £500,000 will be shared by four community ownership projects in the latest round of Scottish Land Fund awards.
