Trade and Investment Minister Ivan McKee is visiting China this week to promote the growing economic, cultural and educational links between Scotland and the world’s second largest economy.
On the first day of his visit, Mr McKee undertook a series of engagements in Beijing, starting with meeting the Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy.
The Minister then met with the State Forestry and China Wildlife Conservation Association (CWCA), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) and the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC).
The Minister also met with Hainan airlines before ending the day by launching VisitScotland’s Year of Coasts and Waters 2020 in China.
Good to see that Scotland’s Trade Minister has actually been involved to participate in Trade, it’s usually all done by the First Minister on her many trade trips around the world.
