Our radio silence
May 12, 2015 by Leah Lockhart No Comments | Category Our work
We’re a digital engagement team that hasn’t blogged in over a month and recently had to blow the dust off our Twitter account. We spend all our days giving people advice about how to engage with their stakeholders online, how to create or find and share interesting content and how to work out loud but we haven’t really been doing any of that very well ourselves. We’ve fallen victim to the very things we hear from our colleagues are barriers to them keeping up their social media activity: getting behind in planning, not thinking our story is interesting yet or not carving out the time for ourselves. The pre-election period meant things went quiet generally- colleagues we had been consulting on public digital engagement preferred to wait- so we haven’t had much to say on the project front. But we’re getting our act together now. Publishing schedule, curation ahoy and better capturing of our day to day work. In this last week alone we’ve had a heck of a lot happen and we’ll be sharing those stories with you soon. Watch this space and if you see us slacking again, pull us up!
