New Software Value Added Reseller (VAR) framework agreement has been awarded!
Scottish Procurement, in collaboration with NHS National Services Scotland, are delighted to announce a new Software Value Added Reseller (VAR) framework agreement has been awarded to Softcat PLC. This is the first software VAR agreement specifically created for the Scottish public sector and will be delivered by Softcat from their Glasgow office.
The software VAR agreement provides Scottish public sector organisations with access to commercially off the shelf (COTS) software and support services. Buyers can take advantage of this single supplier framework with structured discounts in place on software purchases that will deliver significant cash savings.
The framework is now available to public sector organisations and details can be found in the Scottish Procurement contract directory. A general buyer’s guide is being prepared and will be available soon.
A supplier guide and catalogue is also being prepared, these will be available from our secure stakeholder group ‘Procurement Information Network’ within Knowledge Hub. The guide will contain supplier contact details, the ordering process and catalogue/price information.
