Working with the Scottish public sector – what is PCS-Tender and how do I use it?

November 7, 2023 by No Comments | Category PCS-Tender

What is PCS-Tender?

PCS-Tender is the national eTendering system funded by the Scottish Government. The system is a secure and efficient way for Buyers and Suppliers to manage tender exercises online. The standard templates enable Buyers to easily create consistent tender documentation and allows Suppliers to save and reuse tender responses.

All opportunities are first advertised on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS). If the Buyer is using PCS-Tender to manage the tender the Notice on PCS will tell you that you need to submit your response on PCS-Tender.

Where can I find PCS-Tender User Guides?

The PCS-Tender Supplier Guides have been updated. Open PCS-Tender and click Further Assistance For Suppliers to access the updated guides including:

  • Supplier Registration Guide
  • Find and Express Interest in an ITT or PQQ
  • Supplier Response Guide
  • Managing Additional Users
  • File Sharing
  • Contract and Supplier Management Guide
  • Pairing Your PCS & PCS-Tender Accounts

How can I reset my username and password on PCS-Tender?

Go to PCS-Tender and click Forgot your password or username? under the Sign In button.
