Public Procurement and Property
Programme for Government (PfG) for the year ahead
November 8, 2023 by Melissa Reilly No Comments | Category Procurement news
In September, the First Minister announced the 2023/2024 Programme for Government (PfG).
The PfG is published every year at the beginning of the parliamentary session in September and sets out the actions the Scottish Government will take in the coming year, including the legislative programme for the new parliamentary year. While every PfG is different, its development is a collaborative, cross-government effort. In particular this year, we would like to draw our online community’s attention to references to both Procurement and Property on pages 15, 16 and 46.
Nikki Archer, our Head of Procurement and Commercial Policy and Strategy said:
“It’s great to see Procurement & Property routinely appearing in the PfG as recognised and valued enablers of inclusive and sustainable economic growth. A recent report on Scotland’s Journey demonstrates what we have delivered so far, with the PFG showing our commitment to go further to maximise our impact.”
