Encouraging workers to get their vaccines

July 2, 2021 by No Comments | Category Business, Coronavirus

We know vaccination is key to moving forward from the pandemic and I am pleased to be working with Scotland’s business organisations to encourage businesses up and down the country to support their staff to attend their vaccine appointments.

See our joint statement:

“The COVID-19 vaccine is a vital step in Scotland’s progress towards a safer return to the workplace and ensuring we are able to move to level 0 on 19 July and then lift all major remaining Covid restrictions on 9 August.

“We need to reach as many people as possible and businesses have a key role to play in helping get the population fully vaccinated.

“All adults in Scotland have now been invited for their first dose of the vaccine and we encourage everyone to take up this opportunity. We would also encourage businesses to support their staff to attend their vaccine appointments.

“Brighter days are within our grasp and ensuring all adults have received their vaccine is our best way out of the pandemic.”
