Price Adjustments Of Some Lyreco PPE Stock
September 25, 2020 by funeral-industry-news No Comments | Category Funeral directors, PPE
The Scottish Government has worked with Lyreco to reduce the prices for Type IIr masks and aprons.
This reduction in price will be visible on the webshop from 24 September.
The prices charged by Lyreco are driven by market conditions – both where and when products have been sourced. Some prices on the framework may still be higher than they were prior to the pandemic due to higher global demand for PPE. In agreement with Scottish Government, Lyreco will only add an agreed uplift price to the items.
You should still explore your business as usual PPE routes before placing an order with Lyreco.
There is no obligation to buy from the PPE framework once registered for an account. Registration information can be found in this prior post.
Separately, funeral supplies provider Brian Reid have advised that they have increased their stock holding of body bags as a contingency to support funeral directors over the winter period.
