Posts resume to the monitoring blog

December 7, 2011 by No Comments | Category Marine Directorate Science

The monitoring blog has been relatively silent over the last number of months. This does not mean that monitoring has stopped at the Marine Scotland monitoring sites. Scientists working on this project have been busy performing the sampling trips and analysing samples that have been collected. Regular posts to the blog will begin again shortly.

These posts will report on work that is being performed as part of the Marine Scotland ecosystem monitoring programme. Updates on the information that this programme is providing about different elements of the marine ecosystem as well as observations from sampling trips to the Stonehaven monitoring site will also be presented.

The marine ecosystem monitoring pages on the Scottish Government website are currently under review. These will be updated over the next couple of months to include information and data from the ecosystem monitoring programme. In the meantime we thank you for your patience.
