Fisheries data brought to life with a new interactive tool

Marine Scotland’s Analytical Unit has developed a new interactive data visualisation tool as an easy way to view changes in fish landings into Scotland by Scottish registered vessels.

Showing weight and value of landings from 2000-2015, information can be viewed for Scotland as a whole or for one of the 18 administrative districts:

Aberdeen Fishery Office Anstruther Fishery Office
Ayr Fishery Office Buckie Fishery Office
Campbeltown Fishery Office Eyemouth Fishery Office
Fraserburgh Fishery Office Kinlochbervie Fishery Office
Kirkwall Fishery Office Lerwick Fishery Office
Lochinver Fishery Office Mallaig Fishery Office
Oban Fishery Office Peterhead Fishery Office
Portree Fishery Office Stornoway Fishery Office
Scrabster Fishery Office
Ullapool Fishery Office

Data can be viewed monthly, quarterly and yearly for demersal, pelagic and shellfish, and also for specific key species under these main species type.
