Updated procurement benefits reporting guidance
September 10, 2019 by Lorraine Carlyle No Comments | Category Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges, Best practice, Central Government Procurement Shared Services, NHS Scotland, procurement benefits guidance, Procurement news, Scotland Excel, Scottish Procurement
Earlier this year we published an updated version of the procurement benefits guidance.
The guidance was jointly developed by:
- NHS NSS covering the NHS sector
- Scottish Procurement for central government
- Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC) for universities and colleges
- Scotland Excel for local authorities in Scotland
Why use the guidance?
The guidance has been developed to help procurement teams identify where they can save money and create benefits through their procurement activity. It is also important that these savings and benefits are reported consistently across sectors.
All organisations should use the new guidance for reporting their savings from the start of financial year 2019/20.
