Closing Phase 2 call for applications

August 12, 2019 by No Comments | Category Uncategorized

We launched the call for the second phase of applications for the 2014-2020 programmes in February 2018. Since then we have held 26 MAAP meetings, approving over 100 extensions to operations and more than 20 new operations. This has taken the total approved grant awarded to operations to £535 million.

The next MAAP meeting will take place on Wednesday 21 August, at which we will consider the latest applications from lead partners.

We had originally anticipated completing the second phase of the applications in September 2018, but have continued this into this year to allow lead partners time to prepare proposals for extensions and new operations. We are now planning on closing the call for applications in early 2020.

We have scheduled two further MAAP meetings on Wednesday 2 October and Wednesday 20 November, after which we will consider if any more meetings are required.

In closing the call for further applications, we request that all lead partners who:

  • have received approval for their SI extension approved, but not submitted the associated Operation(s);
  • are considering submitting an application for an SI and Operation extension; or
  • are considering submitting an application for new operations

ensure that they finalise and all applications and documentation to meet this timescale.

Proposals should be discussed with your Portfolio and Compliance Manager as soon as possible and all issues should be resolved two weeks in advance of the respective MAAP meeting at which your application will be considered.

Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please contact your Portfolio and Compliance Manager.
