About DPS
Scottish Procurement launched our DPS for Digital Services in October 2017. Since then over 260 suppliers have joined (over 80% are SMEs) and the first wave of call-off contracts have been awarded to SMEs.
New process launched
As part of our on-going development to make the DPS easy to use for buyers and suppliers, we have been working with the Public Contracts Scotland – Tender (PCS-T) team to make it accessible to all buyers. We are pleased to launch a new process within PCS-T which allows existing and non PCS-T users access to a dedicated DPS area without the need for additional training. An easy to follow guide will be provided when you register as a DPS user.
With the volume of suppliers on each lot (digital projects, digital resources and cyber security) now running into the hundreds, this new process allows buyers to issue documentation to all suppliers at the push of a button via the respective lot templates.
The use of PCS-T is not mandatory for DPS and buyers can still use their own electronic method if they prefer, but this provides an additional and easy to use option.
