SPPA Office in Tweedbank

The Scottish Public Pensions Agency (SPPA) administers pensions on behalf of the Scottish Government for Teachers, the Police and Firefighters as well as for employees of the National Health Service in Scotland. The agency are looking to transform to improve the way they provide this vital service to the public sector.

To make sure we are solving the right problems we will be publishing an ITT through the Dynamic Purchasing System for Digital Technology Services, Lot 1 – Digital Projects, week commencing 09/09/19.

This route to market allows us to work with a wide range of organisations, from global companies to local SMEs. More information on Dynamic Purchasing Systems and how to apply is available over on the Scottish Government Public Procurement blog

This is a great opportunity to work with a vital agency in the public sector to review their current operation and help form their plans for the future. We are looking for a partner who has the skills and experience to:
• Review the current business and technical architecture
• Develop a target operating model to include business and technical architecture to deliver SPPA’s long term vision
• An action plan to realise the target architecture to include the internal and external skills and capacity required
• Support to develop a procurement strategy to ensure we get right long term build and strategy partner

The expectation is that this will be an 8-12 week engagement with early outcomes delivered in late November/December 2019.

You will be working with the SPPA team to help them shape their vision for the future, a great team in a beautiful location!
